What is Recyclemania?

Recyclemania (January 18th - March 28 2009) is the largest national competition in the country which pits over 200 colleges and universities against each other with a goal of increasing recycling. The college in competing in two categories:

• the Per Capita Classic
• Waste Minimization

We can win with your help!

What You Can Do

Recycle Paper Products - Place in blue lidded containers

• Newspapers
• Computer paper
• Magazines
• Pamphlets
• Cardboard boxes
• Paper board
• Posters
• Envelopes (all types)
• Brown paper bags
• Colored paper

Recycle Glass, Aluminum, Plastic - Place all together in green lidded containers

• #1 and #2 plastic
• Glass bottles/jars
• Juice containers
• Aluminum cans
• Soda cans/bottles

Reduce Waste

• Don't print unnecessary documents
• Print double sided whenever possible
• Reduce unwanted bulk mail - see dmaconsumers.org
