Involvement in extracurricular activities is a valuable part of each student’s college experience. The Student Leadership and Involvement program enhances and supports the academic program of the institution while encouraging personal growth and development. Programs and activities are designed to foster the intellectual, social, and cultural development of students and to foster a sense of community among students, faculty, and staff.
The Student Leadership and Involvement Office is directly responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of student activities, programs, and events. Assisting student clubs and organizations, facilitating leadership training for student leaders, and planning and coordinating various campus activities both on and off campus are functions of the Office of Student Leadership and Involvement. All students are encouraged to actively participate in student activities.
