We are pleased to have you begin your education at Montgomery County Community College. To get started, all new students attending for the first time must complete the following steps.
Step 1 Complete an Application.
Save yourself $25 by completing the online application, or complete a mail-in application and submit $25.
Step 2 Assess Your Skills.
Placement testing is required for most students and allows the College to help determine the student’s readiness for college-level course work. The test results are confidential and allow for appropriate placement into classes. Exemptions to this testing include certain SAT scores and the number of college credits previously earned. To find out more about these and other exemptions or to schedule free, private test time, contact the Testing Center on either campus.
