All E-Learning courses meet the goals and objectives of traditional courses and carry the same credits as face-to-face courses.

E-Learning has become increasingly popular in higher education over the last decade because it offers several benefits, including access to education for people removed from a college campus or unable to keep a regular schedule because of disability, work, or family responsibilities. Distance education provides the chance to pursue a degree that might otherwise not be attainable.

E-Learning courses are offered in three learning formats: online, hybrid, and videoconference courses. You can complete an entire degree online or choose to take an E-Learning course to supplement your seated class schedule.

  • Online—courses are delivered via the Internet using various technologies to foster learning at a distance without requiring face-to-face instruction on campus.
  • Hybrid—blends face-to-face and online instruction to meet the desired learning outcomes while reducing seated class time. The approximate instructional ratio is 60:40 online to face-to-face instruction.
  • Videoconference—courses conducted simultaneously at two or more locations (such as the Blue Bell and Pottstown Campuses) via two-way audio and video transmissions. The faculty member is present at one location but is able to interact and conduct class with students at all remote locations simultaneously.
