Mustangs ‘Think Pink’ for Breast Cancer Awareness

In support of breast cancer awareness, Mustangs Intercollegiate Athletics at Montgomery County Community College is selling pink awareness bracelets and collecting donations through Feb. 1. All proceeds benefit Living Beyond Breast Cancer, a national non-profit breast cancer education and support organization based locally in Montgomery County.

Bracelets can be purchased at the Physical Education Center at the College’s Central Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, or in the Students Success Center in South Hall at the West Campus, 101 College Drive, Pottstown. Bracelet sales and donations can also be made at Mustangs basketball home games on Jan. 19 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.; Jan. 21 at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.; and Feb. 1 at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Games are held in the Gymnasium at the Physical Education Center at the College’s Central Campus.

On Feb. 1, the Mustangs will make a check presentation to representatives from Living Beyond Breast Cancer at half-time during the women’s basketball game vs. Luzerne County Community College. The women’s game begins at 6 p.m.
