The Office of Student Leadership and Involvement at Montgomery County Community College will present a comedy break featuring Ronnie Jordan on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 12:30 p.m. in the Science Center Theater, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell. The event is free and is open to the public.
After only one year on the comedy scene, Ronnie Jordan was crowned Rookie of the Year by the famed Uptown Comedy Corner in Atlanta, Ga. in 2001. Since then, he has shared concert dates with comedians such as Rickey Smiley, Mike Epps and Dave Chappelle, and he served as the opening act on the Queens of Comedy 12-city tour.
Jordan broke college touring records last spring, performing at 102 colleges in 112 days, and he also headlined the RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour, which is the longest running and highest grossing comedy tour targeting colleges and universities in the country. His television appearances include BET’s Comic View, Martin Lawrence Presents the 1st Amendment Stand-Up and P. Diddy Presents Bad Boys of Comedy. Jordan was also one of the writers on “That Comedy Show,” which aired on the Turner South Network.
